“I had been using a pretty worn, 20-year-old Tritronics collar and control and decided to get a new one - the Sportdog 425 X-Series. I have been very satisfied with the product. The collar is small and lightweight, making it nearly unnoticeable at a distance. A very useful tool on the 425 is the easy access three buttons on the control for using varying stimulation at a given numerical setting on the dial. In working with a 6-12 month-old pup this feature is very useful for quickly accessing progressive stimulation as an action by the dog is occurring. I found this feature valuable in training the dog faster than I expected to whistle and voice commands in the field and on the training ground. My son uses the same product for his dogs. I would buy it again.”

“I gave put the long prongs on the collar and half the time it feels like it's way too tight and...nothing! The majority if the time nothing is even noticed unless it's on 5-7. Very disappointing! Had on about 15 yrs ago and was great! Not this one!”
