“I Have been using This to train several pointers. If running a Brace is not always an option then this will get the job done. I would say that you should buy separately 1/4-20 SS hardware to use. The ones in the package were all cross Threaded and would not work.”

“I'm training GSPs for competition. This silhouette is a simple training aid for honoring point. Your dog on a checkcord, upwind of the silhouette. I plant mine in a place where my trainee can't see. I place a loaded launcher behind the silhouette. Walk dog into area. When dog sees the silhouette, stop it with the checkcord and launch the bird if dog moves. Dog is trained to whoa at the sight of the silhouette, not scent. Dogs have no depth perception.”
