When i got the pistol and shot the blanks the grips fell apart cause a spring to pop out which took me a long time to fix. The next day I had the cylinder pole fly and and I lost it. Terrible product never buy again.

Originally, I wanted to purchase the .22 Champ (Wood grip) however it was out of stock and needed a blank pistol. The Black Starter pistol would light strike 4-5 blanks out of the 8 the gun holds. Lion’s Supply customer service was extremely helpful and sent me the .22 champ in place of the faulty pistol. I was very pleased with my over experience and outcome. Great customer service!

It's pretty much a piece of garbage. The cylinder position is not controlled by cocking the hammer like a normal revolver. So whether it fires on any given pull of the trigger is hit or miss. This also ruins some portion of the blanks. And the fired blanks are not pushed out of the cylinder by the ejector rod/extractor, which instead tends to jam them at an angle in the cylinders. So one ends up picking at least half the fired blanks out one cylinder at a time either with fingernails or a thin blade. That being said, I'd STILL buy this one given the cost of the more expensive blank guns, not being a professional trainer. Or better yet, pretty much any cheap .22 revolver would have much tighter tolerances and function much better.

Pistol works as it should, trigger is a bit hard for my wife to pull. The blank cartridges are readily available

This is my second training starter pistol, in 12 years, and it works great. Arrived on-time and it came out of the box as advertised. Very happy
