Good size for pigeons and Chukar. Nice thick enamel that so far has held up to travel and field use.

These Tip-Up Releasers are an affordable alternative to remote launchers for releasing pigeons or small game birds for your dog's training. I combine one of these tip ups with a remote control launcher to launch two birds back to back to help install the "Whoa" command that can help a young dog to wait and hold point for the possibility of a second bird flush. It also let's the dog see that you are out in front and will be the person flushing the bird.

Perfect for pigeons, the right size and weight. Since buying three of these I’m thinking I need a few more. Affordable and great quality.

Great for starting puppies. Sturdy construction. The onlhy change I would recommend to this tip-up releaser is I add a painted screen over the cage itself to better camoflage the birds.... But, this releaser works well even without the screening.

My pup was so well trained to heel that I had a problem getting him to move out and search while there was a lead dragging. I was concerned that if I let him hunt without a lead, he might catch birds that he found before I could get to him since I am working alone. The tip up solved this by preventing him from being able to contact the bird until I can move in and flush it. Since I'm working him by myself, the cage also keeps the bird planted while I walk back to truck and get him.
