Great looking feeder but your picture shows the rain cover fairly high up but in reality it comes quite low down and birds find it difficult to get in for food.

Great feeder, this is my second feeder as I have a new chicken pen, the other is still going strong after 7-8 years. I have brahmas and Orpingtons who feed from it no problem, even though the hat comes down low, they didn’t take long to get used to it. The new pen I have pekin bantams who don’t have a problem with it either, the rain hat is great, keeps the feed dry, and the legs keep it off the ground, the chickens don’t scratch the food out so there’s no waste. It fits easily in a dustbin overnight away from rats.

It came reasonably quickly which was great but, the top part hangs down so much lower than on the picture and my flock won’t go near it. I had to pack the inside with paper so it was a bit higher.

To be honest, as soon as it arrived I spent 10 minutes trying to put it together, but couldnt fit the top to the base. In the end my husband did it with the help of a screwdriver, and now I cant get it apart to clean it. So a very bad purchase, although looks good, the chicken seem to be scared of the green umbrella top

Ideal for outside feeding, chickens feed from it happily and the food remains dry.
