“Sturdily built and can't have bits chomped off like the plastic ones, also heavy enough not be dragged off under inaccessible kitchen cupboards or wood piles. Plenty of places to attach wire or twine to anchor in one spot, too.”

“Sadly not as well made as the older versions. The trip point varies hugely from one to the next and needs adjusting to make them work. The spring arm is held by two pressed loops and pops out on occasions when the trap operates. This could not happen on the old model as the loops were not open. The setting arm is poorly pressed and pops out of the pivot point easily. The real issue is that the metal is 0.6mm thick rather than the 0.9mm on the original. (30% thinner) In general a pity as I want non-plastic traps, but the quality is not quite there. Get them made properly and charge 50p more?”
