“I think it’s working. Only had it for a few days but so far the snails have left my plants alone. Need quite a bit of it and it smells quite strong but it looks like it’s worth it.”

“I've used Slug Gone now for 2 years on runner beans and it seems reasonably effective. I put a good circle around new plants and so long as there are no gaps (slugs are remarkably persistent!) the plants weren't eaten. Once the plants have grown a bit I think they get tougher so not as attractive to the little beasts. The other good thing about this product is that it isn't toxic. Apparently the wool isn't nice to slither over!”

“I use this on my hostas. Place all around the plant before it emerges and I don't have have any problems. If you do have a small problem go out at night to pick off the offender. Thiese pellets are fantastic the only thing I have found that works. I used to get sheep wool and put around but these are far better/easier and they break feeding the plants nutrients. Only one application a year”
