“It is too soon to know whether this product actually works, but the 2-star rating was applied because of the packaging. Following the instructions, the liquid very slowly drips into the measuring compartment - 10 ml takes about 5 minutes, which is frustrating. However it is then impossible to tip the measured liquid into a sprayer. Tip it the other way (right) and it returns to the main bottle, tip to the left and more is added to the measuring compartment, tip forwards or backwards and nothing comes out at all. I have tried two bottles, thinking there may be a fault in one bottle only, but the same thing happened. The only way to use the product is to hacksaw the top off and tip all into a jar, and then measure using a small measuring cylinder or similar. Fortunately, the numerous shards of red plastic float, so they do not clog up the filter in the sprayer. Did anyone test the product? I suspect it was designed for a solution, not a viscous emulsion.”

“Despite shaking it first it was very difficult to get the concentrate liquid to flow into the dosing chamber at the top of the bottle as per the instructions, and equally difficult to get the measured dose out of the chamber and into the sprayer. This might be because the liquid was already 18 months old when I received it and had thickened up too much. Because of this it was impossible to know whether I was using the corrected dilution on a blighted box hedge.”
