“I bought these 4 to replace my old 4 that are finally falling apart and after 5 years won’t be useable next year. I normally grow 2 climbing purple French beans and 2 stringless runner beans placing 3 plants at each cane. Each bag takes a 70 litre bag of multi compost to which I add some chicken poo pellets. I stand the bags on pallets do that the bottoms are off the cold cobblestones placed near our fence on our patio where they get full sun by lunchtime. I have had great crops from both types of beans having to give carry bags away. The purple climber also makes a lovely addition to salads when picked as baby thin beans but is also stringless. I would thoroughly recommend these vegetable planters good value for money long lasting and so easy to use. Could also be used for sweet peas or peas just as successfully. A good buy for the vegetable grower who doesn’t have space to grow in the ground. Well made and 6 foot bamboo canes fit easily into the slots to be tied into a whig wham for your crops to grow up.”
