“When I first received my Mangar Bathing Cushion the battery wouldn't work. They quickly sent me another one and I just had my first bath in two years. It was wonderful! I like to soak in the tub and it is something I have really missed. The cushion worked as it was supposed to and I had no problems getting in and out of the tub.”
“Hard to find in USA other than UK for a good price. I think even your price is to high for this item on sale. Wish it had no pillow, seat pushes one forward as you rise. I turned it around. Have back pillow under legs. Otherwise will have to like it if I want a bath versus a shower.”
“First of all it does work very well to get you in and out of the bath. I only gave it a good rating because putting the pillow into the bath and getting back out again are a bit of a hassle.
To put it into the bath you have to make sure four suction cups are securely attached to the bath, not that easy. When you are finished you are left with a cushion that you have to manually deflate and then remove the now well attached suction cups. And final, you have to store it until next time you want to use it.”

“I find the Mangar Cushion meets my needs very well. I can use it as a shower chair or as a lift to lower me for a tub bath. It is very comfortable especially with the backrest. It is also much lighter than other bath lifts and easier to remove from the tub when necessary. It's a bit wobbly on the way up and down. But you can get support from the side of the tub or a support bar. The delivery was fast from Live oak Med and the service was excellent. Art Wainwright.”
“If you have jacuzzi garden style tub this is a lower cost option to a standard bath lift. It has a small (6lb) battery charger/air compressor which you plug into a household outlet. When the battery indicator glows steady green, you're ready to go. Take the small "suitcase looking" (it even has a handle) battery charger/air compressor and attach the remote and the air hose. Each of the outlets on the battery charger/air compressor has a different shape, so even if you have low or no vision you can't plug anything in the wrong. The remote to inflate and deflate the cushion has a raised dot on the up arrow so again, low vision, no problem. Put the cushion in the tub, secure the suction cups on the bottom of the tub (the instructions are included for the battery charger/air compressor and the cushion and are VERY CLEAR). Inflate using the up arrow, transfer yourself from your wheelchair or the side of the tub onto the cushion. Deflate using the down arrow, bathe away!!! You do need to be able to sit up independently, but this has been a wonderful investment to utilize my tub for pain relief.”
“A wonderful way to take a bath and soak in a tub of nice hot water when you are unable to get in and out any other way. Perfect for elderly people who are no longer as mobile as they once were.”
