“I purchased the ResQUp for home use. The product arrived in a timely manner and as described. After viewing the enclosed DVD I decided it was important to "practice" using it - not waiting until I fell. The unit is light weight enough to carry easily and the well-designed handle space works well for transport. After experimenting with the two techniques demonstrated on the DVD, I found scooting sideways on the lower two steps worked well for me followed by scooting backward to the final, tallest step. I sat on the last step with great trepidation since I had not been able to get up from the floor unassisted for a couple of years. Using my cane in one hand & pushing up with my other hand on the ResQUp's sturdy framework I stood up! I was elated! My feelings of helplessness after a fall are gone. Plus, as an added bonus, my husband no longer helpless -unable to help me - simply waiting for someone else to come. The ResQUp is a true life changer. Thank you!”

“The ResQup looks like a good solution for Mom's falls. It arrived yesterday, is ample in size and appears well-made. Of course, someone needs to be at hand if a fall occurs in order to bring the device to her. It will require upper body strength, so we resumed PT today to work on all muscle groups; at 90 years old, this is a challenge.
There doesn't seem to be much else on the market for this problem without spending $12-1500. We will see how this works when needed, and hope it was a good purchase, I do think the price - $349 is steep. Surely there is a huge mark-up on this, and many seniors cannot afford to purchase it. I would like to see it priced so it is more generally affordable, as Medicar does not cover it.”
