“LOVE these shoes, have had them for years wth kiddo #2, super active 6 yo. She has a pair of her sisters petal ones in purple, when they both got a pair a few years ago and they never fit her sister right, so we saved them for her. Well she had to have another pair of birdie shoes. What makes me/her/others sad is that the kitty shoe, birdie, etc stop after 13. My kiddo is in K (late Sept b day) but even in first, 2nd, my kid would LOVE to have these in birdie or kitty (which I just noticed they had (our local specialty shoe guy never got the kitty ones, so I had no idea). When your in K, 1, 2, 3 at least, why take away such a great shoe and force her choice to be the petal mary janes or the ones with a slight ruffle (but by far, nothing â€œfunâ€ on them). So, would I recommend them yes, am I hoping that my daughter will accept a more simple sure, yes, is she losing a HUGE part of her personality when it is just thriving YES. And frankly, teachers in 3 school districts that we have lived in across the US (SF, CA Chapel Hill, NC, & T/E PA) encourage their parents NOT to send their kids in flats (wood chips on a lot of playground, slip on and off even with a strap, lack of support) and the 2 pair I see on your site are frankly dull. Moving on to the sneakers, the 2 pair you have to me, miss the mark, and my kid had been OK in some nice brandsâ€”â€”but then all you see are kids in those hideous light up, barbie, princess, or sketchers brands and you cringe at buying them. SOâ€¦.I hope to use the coupon and have my child like them. Im just thinking your company, as great as it is, is missing the mark when kids start young in your shoesâ€”â€”they age a few years and they want a â€œfun pairâ€ and â€œsneakersâ€ and now your â€œfun pairs are less funâ€¦..â€ Another thing I LOVE, she loves, about your birdie shoes, is, they offer her solid support, and a nice rounding of the sole up so the actual leather stays butter soft and the birdies look great all year. Now a days you go to any other brand, and you donâ€:tm:t see that, but you do see shoes scuffed, with awful looking toe beds that you donâ€:tm:t even want to send your kiddo out in them. As for the boots, we will give them a try next year, but I currently have my older kid in donald Greene boots second year in a row for how well they stood up and how nice they areâ€¦â€¦so we will see. Just a rambling email from a tired mom with a child who LOVES a fun shoe, where the sparkles last and they donâ€:tm:t look crappy after a few months of wear. Ohâ€¦.I can see the your Ruched MJ are good sellers for those of use who want to stay with your brandâ€¦.b/c that is all they have to choose from. Event those could be jazzed up for a LOT of kids.”

“Love the shoes. I am pretty sure we got a pair that someone had tried on before as there was creasing and no tissue in one shoe. Not something I would expect when purchasing a brand new pair at full price but we would probably cause the same thing after one wear.”

“Had to get a size bigger than usual length-wise. The teal color was beautiful and these shoes are of excellent quality. Width was TTS.”

“These shoes are very pretty with just the right amount of sparkle. I think the rose gold is neutral enough to where with almost anything. I do tend to order a slightly smaller size because my daughters feet are very narrow.”
