“I bought this new pair of Locals Massage flip flops to replace a pair I bought in Maui back in 2000. Believe out or not, I’m still happily wearing those and loving them. But they are 19 years old ( the rubber is mostly unchanged but the sole is a bit thin in spots) so I thought I’d get a new pair. I was relieved to see that Locals still makes a massage version, but sadly, these new ones aren’t the same. The nubs are much smaller and pointier. They actually hurt and I just end up kicking them off within minutes, totally unlike the first ones. So, looking around the internet, I did find a brand that is very similar to my first pair of Lacals. They are called “Bumpers” and they’re great. But, I love the Locals brand and I wish they would return to the super long lasting, effective, and comfortable version that I found there in 2000”
