“After living in Maui 15yrs I will only wear Locals Only slippahs... I was so stoked to find this website. I love the different styles and colors and will always support the brand. Now that I found my correct size I surely will buy more pairs and retire my old ones. ( nah.. I'll repair the old ones lol ) Shaka to all. DH”
“Make sure that you correctly follow the unnecessarily complicated sizing chart. I have small feet for a dude. I comfortably wear a men’s size 9, in just about 95% of shoes sold in the US anyway. The only outlier really that comes to mind is, Adidas. In which case the size must be a 9.5, or it might as well be a kid’s size 6….Anyway, I’m pretty much a solid 9 in regards to my shoe size. Taking that into account, I believed it to make the most amount of common sense, to order the men’s size, 9.5-10.5, of these slippers. Especially because it’s common knowledge that very few, if any sandal/Sliipah/flip flop, etc. manufacturing company, even makes flop’s in a specific “single size.” Flop’s are pretty much always sold in like a, Mens US shoe size(s) 9-11.5, or whatever. So, even though the pair I was looking at was a “Men’s size 9.5-10.5”, and even though I knew they would be very close to a whole size larger than the size I normally wear. And, I was also kinda in a hurry when I ordered them. And I was just thinking, heck yeah!! They have my size in stock???, take my money!! But, then after I placed my order, I started thinking, and doing a little more digging around on a few other retailer’s websites, who also sold Local’s Sandals. And, In doing so I quickly came to the conclusion that a pair of Local’s brand, “Men’s Size 9.5-10.5” sandals, would have fit my size 9 foot, the same exact same way a “Men’s (youth?) size, 5.5-6” would have fit. In other word’s they would not have fit, at all. But, needless to say, all the folks at Local’s actually care about the people who buy things from them, and they do crazy things like making sure they’re consistently providing world class service to their customer’s, in any way that they’re able to. So, after I placed my order and I purchased the flops directly from the Local’s website, I soon became aware of the fact I had failed miserably to fully read, and properly comprehend the size chart for their flop’s, which also happened to be clearly posted on their website as well…I promptly contacted Local’s customer support directly, to try and correct the issue prior to the wrong sized flops being shipped. Now, granted all of this took place within 12-24 hours of my original, incorrect order I had placed. Long story short though, they said something to the effect of, “Yo, no worries Brodda! we got you family!” They had the “Men’s size 9.5-10.5” (Which is actually the 11.5 “) in stock, and they just switched the order, and immediately shipped the correct size flop’s to me. Which I’m proudly wearing right at this moment! Mahalo Local’s! You guy’s actually make me want to shop online !! ; ) Aloha from Texas!”
