“After trial and error I thought I had zeroed in on the perfect #4 line for my Winston Air 2, several big name brands had issues such as line coiling and failure to turn over at certain distances.
I purchased the Opti flex intending on having it as a backup, but to my surprise the line casts and presents beautifully at all distances.
Surprisingly good single Spey and roll casts.
Minor kick at 40-60 feet but easily mitigated and who really needs to cast that far on #4 water.
The only issue experienced was coiling from the factory spool, this was a nuisance to eliminate but once gone the line stayed straight.
It’s now my go-to and I’m seriously considering changing out my #5 and #6 outfits.”
