“Firstly, and probably my own fault for not reading the ingredients fully, take note that Alcohol Denat is a prominent ingredient in the Night Serum (and a little in the Day Serum) which is very drying for skin and I try to avoid this as much as possible. Secondly, my main concerns were my oily nose and whiteheads, which seems to be as poorly addressed and even worsened by these personalised products as compared my normal products. Will not be shipping back the products for reformulation as you have to pay for your own return.”
Hi Arwika, we see that you have only been using the products for less than a week. As you know, skincare is a journey. Our skin concerns are a result of years of skin damage that our skin goes through and hence it takes at least a few weeks for the products to really make a difference. Continued use is necessary to maintain the results, so again, consistency is the key :)
Sure, there are products that can have dramatic overnight results (such as an AHA or BHA exfoliant), but for the most part, try to avoid products with such heavy concentration of actives since they can be harmful in the longer run. For sustainable results, continued usage of skincare regimen with clean ingredients is important.
