As mentioned in our email to you, Cloud Factory Cleanser is not a makeup-removing cleanser. We highly recommend customers who wear makeup to use a separately oil-based cleanser as their first cleanse (i.e cleansing oil, cleansing balm, micellar). If you don't include a makeup-removing product, you will most likely see an increase in clogged pores. Do feel free to also let us know the results of your patch test via email and we'll be able to assist accordingly. 😊

Hi Kara, we're sorry to hear that! Cloud Factory Cleanser is packed with the goodness of five fruit-based acids that purifies and refreshes skin which is what the fragrance is mainly from.
We've included some tips below on how to maximise the use of the cleanser to help cleanse your skin:
(1) Cleanse morning and night, even if you don't wear makeup. Excess oil, and micro particles from pollution can build up on your skin throughout the day, and while you sleep, you also naturally release excess oils and toxins. Cleansing helps to clear this gunk out!
(2) Cleanse with lukewarm water.
(3) Don't rush through your cleansing step! Gently and carefully massage your skin in circular motions for a few minutes to boost blood circulation and collagen production.
(4) Gently pat dry with a soft face towel after you've finished cleansing.
