“I saw this was advertised as unfragranced so expected it to be relatively joyless, but had high expectations nevertheless. Having received a sample of both the cleansing cream and the face cream, I won’t be buying any more of either. They are nothing special in terms of what they do for my skin, and have an unfortunate smell of TCP. Really disappointing and glad I only paid £2.40 for samples rather than splurge on the whole expensive package.”

Hi Kate, We really sorry that you feel this way. As you've mentioned, we created this range without added fragrance because some skin types are so sensitive. However, you will still get a hint of the natural aroma of the ingredients used because we haven't deodorised them and, obviously smell, like taste, is a very personal thing. The idea of the samples is so that you can try them before committing to the full-sized products and it's shame that these aren't for you. Take care. Petrina

Hi Sally, Thank you for trying these. The range is hydrating and contains various ingredients which we've chosen for their moisturising qualities, such as shea butter, calendula oil, cocoa butter, coconut oil and aloe vera. I'm so sorry to hear that it wasn't for you though. take care, Petrina

“Used both cream samples sent. Lovely texture and they applied and sank into the skin really nice. Skin felt soft after. Only downside is the smell, I think it’s the turmeric. That’s just me and my sense of smell, sorry!”

We're pleased to hear that you enjoyed the sachets but we're sorry that you didn't like the smell. We chose to keep these ones fragrance free as a lot of people have reactions to essential oils and fragrances and we wanted everyone to be able to use them. The smell of these products is simply the natural aroma from the ingredients in the formulation. Georgia

“Received my skincare collection a week ago after using samples a family member had. I have noticed a good difference in the tone & hydration in my skin and parts of my face are no w glowing but unfortunately it has broke me out on the lower half of my face / nose area. I’m unsure whether to stop using or carry on....and hopefully this could be a skin purge. Any advice welcome Claire xx”

Thank you for your review, Claire. It could be from the change in skincare, causing this reaction, and it may be worth carrying on using the products to see. However, if it continues I’d recommend removing one of the products from your routine and seeing how your skin is, to see if you can identify which product it is that’s not suiting your skin. Although they have been dermatologically approved for sensitive skin, we are all different.

“I was so pleased that there were samples of the cleanser and face cream to try as I really wanted to make sure they suited my skin. The products are lovely. The cleanser is so nourishing and gentle and the face cream absorbs really well, is very moisturising but with no heavy feel afterwards. Would definitely like to purchase the full size products now. Also, the sachets lasted for 2-3 applications which was great and proves you only need a small amount.”

“Was so looking forward to trying Lucy Bee's new skincare range. I tried out the sample sizes as I wanted to see what it was like before committing to spending on the full size products. Was so disappointed that there seemed to be a layer of tacky residue (possibly the coconut oil) left on the surface of my face after using both the cleanser and moisturiser even after using the recommended amount. I was aware that coconut oil was an ingredient in this range but did not think it was to be so much so that it would be left on the skin afterwards. Maybe others dont mind that but I wasnt pleased with it at all. Also there was a really funny cardboard type odour from the moisturiser. Really disapointed but glad I at least tried it out anyways.”

With regard to the smell, we are sorry you feel the moisturiser has a bit of an odd odour. “Wow I’m so hooked on the cleanser and face cream. I ordered the sachets and now about to order the full-size products! The cleanser and muslin removes makeup like a dream and then the face cream overnight leaves my skin glowing by the morning ❤️. Feels amazing that it’s natural”
