“Love these soaps. I am trying to reduce my plastic usage by ditching the liquid soaps. These last ages and lather really well. Smell divine too. Keep them on a soap tray so they dry out between use and they keep perfect.”

They are completely natural, we use our own Lucy Bee Coconut Oil for the base and natural, organic essential oils for the different fragrances which smell beautiful. It's also great to know they contain NO PALM OIL. Hannah

“SLS free, palm oil free and suitable for my sensitive skin. I ordered the pack to find my favourite fragrance, so far I'm only on ylang ylang and the bar is still going strong and smells amazing. Subtle fragrance that isn't too overpowering. Wonderful, will buy again.”

“They are exactly as Lucy describes - smell gorgeous, lather really well. I’ve had mine for a week and am interested to see how long the bar lasts. Love that these contain no palm oil as so many soaps do. Would love it even more if it didn’t have the plastic wrapper but understand it’s for freshness! Thank you Lucy Bee.”

Thank you for sharing. It's great to hear that you love the soaps as much as we do! We are not fans of plastic at Lucy Bee and do our best to minimise it where we can. The reason for the plastic wrapper is because soaps are normally made from palm oil and a soap made wholly from coconut oil, as ours is, is uncommon. With its better foaming and lathering qualities than soaps made with palm oil, this unique formula means the soap can sweat, which presents something of a challenge to us in storing it, hence the use of flow wrap. We continue to investigate for suitable alternatives and, if found, we will look to replace this with a biodegradable solution. Hannah

“Tryed the soaps been seeing all the reviews on Instagram. I am not normally a soap person I normally use shower gel but I was that impressed with the lather I have now ditched the shower gel for these soaps 5*”

Our Soap bars lather really well when rubbed between wet hands and can be used on the body daily - we recommend using our Exfoliating Soap as needed. “This is the second purchase of these soaps , we are trying to go as plastic free as a family as much as possible also I am finding they are more economical than shower gels. All of us have our favourite one so the set works out really well. As mentioned before the quality of the product is outstanding especially mixed with the essential oils , who knew soap could be so luxurious. X”

“I don't quite know how to say anything that hasn't already been said, however I am a real luxury product lover and would usually not hesitate in buying products from L'Occitane that are similar to the new cleansing bars from Lucy Bee. You can tell and feel the quality from the first moment you use something - and these cleansing bars are no exception to that! The lather is not what I would describe as a traditional 'soap' lather but more of a luxurious, almost-body cream type consistency that thoroughly cleanses whilst also nourishing the skin to leave it feeling soft and clean. Is this some kind of dark magic? :-) I'll qualify this slightly in that I live in an area where the water is relatively soft so it didn't take that much to generate quite a lot of lather, and a little goes a long way. So if you think these are expensive don't worry as they last a lot longer and are far better for what they do for your skin. Buy cheap, buy twice is my motto - you don't have to with these. It is really difficult not to give 5 star reviews for all of these products!”
