“I’ve given other natural deodorants a go and failed pretty miserably. I didn’t know what to expect but this sinks into the skin so nicely, and smells really citrusy. I think I need to adjust to it a little more (only a couple of days in) but so far, so good! A little goes a long way too.”

“I ordered the natural deodorant because I was getting a bit of a rash under my arms from my current deodorant. I absolutely love the Lucy Bee one. It’s stopped the rash and smells lovely and fresh. BUT I wouldn’t rely on it if you’re a particularly sweaty person or you’re going to do a really sweaty workout and not going to shower straight after. It also does leave white marks on your clothes (these do wash out so not like normal yellow stains you get from ‘normal’ deodorants), so be careful wearing black. But definitely try it if you want to do better by the environment and put natural products on your skin.”

Hi Sophie, thank you for your feedback. It's great to hear that you are enjoying the fresh scent of our deodorant, and that your rash has gone from your underarms - this is fantastic. Sorry that you haven't got on with the deodorant whilst working out. This could be your body getting used to using a natural deodorant, also known as a transition period. Anti-perspirants use aluminium-based compounds to temporarily block pores to stop you sweating, whereas a deodorant allows your body to sweat and should cover any odour. Our deodorant uses micro silver, an antibacterial, as well as sodium bicarbonate to help combat odour. Our deodorant is best used on freshly washed, dry armpits. Sorry to also hear that you are getting a mark on your clothes, you please only need to apply a thin layer of our deodorant, this should stop the marks. “I've used natural deodorant for some time but found every product had a drawback - either the packaging was plastic, the product didn't perform, the scent was odd.... This ticks every box. It's a great formulation, smooth texture, doesn't transfer, does what it says AND is plastic free. Love it!”

“I was really excited that Lucy Bee was expanding the range to include a natural deodorant, so pre-ordered it and for me and 2 family members and we all love it. Its got a nice creamy consistency, a lovely citrusy smell and keeps us smelling fresh all day and beyond.”

“Love the smell and consistency but just isn't up to the job of keeping me fresh all day at work. I didn't get to the end of the day before I smelled like I'd been working out! Not saying it's the product, just not for me for effectiveness”

Thank you for getting in touch with your feedback. We are sorry to hear that our natural deodorant is not for you. The deodorant works best on freshly washed armpits, as there will be no residual sweat and bacteria on the skin. The micro silver works to neutralise the bacteria on the skin that causes sweat to smell, and the sodium bicarbonate fights and prevents odour. “Lovely product. I have really sensitive underarms and was getting to the point where they were really sore and itchy from previous products. Received this last wk and it’s amazing. I have no itching or sore patches and it smells so nice.”
