“After following this brand for a while I was very excited when the skin care launched. I have tried both the cream and the tonic. Both feel lovely going on, however after applying I’m left with a very red nose and forehead. I know the range is for sensitive skin, but there’s something in this I’ve reacted to. Will have to continue the search for my holy grail plastic free skincare!”

Hi Lucy, We’re really sorry to hear about this. The tonic uses ACB fruit mix which helps to exfoliate the skin and enhance skin complexion. The tonic contains ACB Fruit Mix which may give the skin a tingling sensation, for up to 30 minutes and this is normal as it exfoliates and also tightens the skin and closes the pores. You may find this the first couple of times of using it and generally the skin gets used to it. We have a great read on our blog, which explains AHAs in skincare and may be of interest. Although the range is dermatologically approved for sensitive skin we do always recommend using a patch test, especially for those with sensitive skin. However, we appreciate that everyone’s skin is different and we’re sorry that the range isn’t for you. Daisy

“With sensitive skin and a beauty therapist as a mum I’m very picky when it comes to my skincare and try to give my skin the very best. I use dermologica but noticed I was getting red across my cheeks and forehead and my skin was just always a little dehydrated (winter grr!). After reading the super straightforward description I decided to purchase the toner and I am very very pleased. It’s very gentle, a little goes a long way and after a few days the redness has gone...GONE! And no more dryness! Back to being makeup free. Will definitely be buying the other face products when my stuff runs out. Massive well done, very impressed. Honestly, do buy if you’re a bit 50:50.”
