“I am returning the mattress after 3 weeks since purchase. I bought 2 twin Luma mattresses for my kids and the reason I went with this brand is because they seemed affordable and were rated great organic product that uses natural latex. Unfortunately since we opened the boxes and after one night sleep I took the mattress out of the kids room and let them air out due to a strong rubber odor. I contacted customer service and expressed my concerned. I was told that some people are more sensitive to the smell and the odor should disappear after a week or so. The mattresses have been airing in a separate room for 3 weeks now , the rubber odor hasn't gone anywhere. I am still waiting to be contacted about the return, I started the process a week and a half ago. I am very disappointed in the product and the return process. I was also told that it could be that the batch of latex used to make our mattresses was not washed properly and that when luma mattress is made there should only a 2% odor to them that should go away fairly fast. The product we got had a 50% odor in my opinion.”

“After months of researching a new bed, my wife and I settled on Luma (pocket coil + latex King). Delivery was a tad slower than expected, and the foundation was delivered separately. However, once we got the bed, it was pretty easy to unfold and it was practically ready to sleep on right away, different from the other bed-in-a-box's we've had in the past that take hours and hours to get to it's full size. The pocket coils add a bit of a spring to the mattress, but in a good, supportive way. I wasn't expecting it to be so bouncy, but the rest of the layers offer a firm surface, with the pocket coil support helping my body adapt whether I'm sleeping on my back or side. My wife, a stomach sleeper, has noticeably been sleeping on her side more and she's been waking up much more refreshed and without neck or back pain. There is still a little bit of that "warehouse" type smell, which is going away (or we're just getting used to it!) but it certainly isn't overpowering. 4/5 stars because of the delivery, and the slight smell, but I'd gladly get this bed again.”

“I've had the Luma mattress (medium firmness) for about 1 month now and it has been a big improvement to my old mattress. Customer service (Stefano) helped me out a lot with setting up the delivery around my moving date. Would definitely recommend to others!”

“I am very chemically sensitive and this mattress does not bother me at all! It was also cheaper than the other organic mattress competition. I am so pleased and sleeping happily. Thanks for a great product!”

“I’ve had the bed for about two weeks now and it’s been wonderful. It’s much lighter than my last bed which is awesome when it came to moving it and then needing to move it again since my new bed frame came after the bed did. It is also actually breathable. I get hot flashes at night and while I may still sometimes need to take the covers off when this happens, I don’t feel like I am drenched in sweat or that the heat is getting trapped in the bed with me. Really breathable. Lastly, it’s comfy! I’m 6’1” and 200 pounds and I feel like the bed carries me perfectly. I sleep on my back and side mostly but also on my stomach some and all have worked. My only thing is that I noticed I am having to fiddle with my pillow situation to get that just right, but with a new bed I think that’s to be expected. Would buy again.”

“slightly soft Our purchase was so easy and smooth with luma mattress. The mattress came quickly and problem free. However the mattress is a bit soft relative to a spring coil mattresss just fyi. As it is not our primary mattress but rather a guest room mattress we are fine with that.”
