“This has saved me having to get rid of my expensive foam mattress. I sleep a bit firmer and somewhat cooler with this on it. It has made my bed much more comfortable now. The queen size fits perfectly on my queen mattress. The straps keep it in place. There is no smell at all after having it out of its package for a couple of weeks. Thanks to Sleep & Beyond and to those Merino sheep. What a relief. Next, I'll try a pillow!”

“The spouse has big time sensitivities to chemicals, which seems to include the was-supposed-to-be-really-chemically-free foam mattress (which we off-gassed for 2 weeks after purchasing). We tried out this $300 mattress pad (I wasn't happy about that!) but, I will say, that somehow it really does seem to make a big difference for the spouse. We already have 3 mattress pads (accidentally acquired multiples, so why not layer them) and we put this under 1 and over 2 to protect it.Recently it happened that the top mattress pad AND this wool pad needed to be removed and the "feels like burning on skin and intense heat" feelings in spouse returned so they got put back the next night. Spouse gives it 3 thumbs up. For myself, I'm just glad it gets great ratings from spouse given it was $300 I didn't want to pay for (basically) a 4th mattress pad.I do worry about possibility of it getting in contact with fluid given it's made of wool (how do you clean it?), but, we do have it under a mattress pad.”

“This is a beautiful, well made product, but I returned it because, as a topper, it did not provide the added softness I was looking for.”

“It doesn't heat me up too much like most of these kinds of products, and I love that fact. I only wish It were a bit thicker.”

“This has about 2 inches of fluffy wool filling. I guess I was imagining packed wool so it felt thick. It feels like laying on a thin comforter. It does add a layer of warmth underneath which is why I chose to keep it. Although, I do think it is way too much for the product itself. I could have just bought a wool blanket and put that under my sheets for half the price.”
