“I'd been really looking forward to this vacuum cleaner coming on sale, seemed to take ages for it to get into production. I had very high hopes for this.
I've had this a few months now, and wanted to really get used to everything before I wrote a review, so that I could be completely honest and helpful to others.
Firstly, if this was advertised as an upright cleaner, this would have 5 stars all day long as it's completely blown away everything else I've used in this category.
Unfortunately, as it was being touted as the best all round (including the hose attachment side too), I felt this let it down massively. The hose is way too short, I struggle to do the stairs, as its pulling the cleaner over when I'm only doing the next step up from the one the cleaner is sat on. I always use two hands when I use a hose as I feel this way gives me the best control, but with this you have to use one hand to hold the cleaner, while left flapping about with little control of the hose in the other hand. On top of this, I find the suction isn't the best through the hose attachments. I think this would benefit immensely from a motorised head, like a miniature version of the main head, and also a much longer hose. I think improving the hose side of the vacuum cleaner would definitely make this a world beater!”

“This vacuum is the best I've ever had in terms of flexibility and cleaning power. This will be my brand from now on. I can't see myself going back (unless we get vacuums that clean themselves someday).
I would suggest a number of improvements to the design of the device itself, from my perspective as a UX designer:
Should come with a docking station, or at least, a better way to plug it in than a simple cable that ends up hanging while the vacuum is in use.
Controls should be moved (or duplicated) in the handle so you don't have to reach out each time you want to start or change the power level.
The manual specifies what we should use the handle on the body when lifting the vacuum, not the long handle. This feels unnatural. The reflex is to lift it by the handle (which also avoids bending which can be a problem for some).
Potentially moving the weight higher would also make it easier to move around.
Things that are perfect the way they are :
Battery life is very very impressive. The fact that it is swappable (and easily replaceable) is one of its best features.
The ease with which to use the various accessories (easy to grab the tube and plug in what you need). Now I have a blast cleaning the blinds.
Things I haven't tested yet:
How easy it is to clean it, especially when clogged with hair, which hasn't happened yet.
Lots of suggestions, but it's only because I am passionate about this product and hope to see you all succeed in disrupting the vacuum market.”

“The machine has great suction power however there are some drawback to it. It is not a "big" machine which means a quick 5 mins vacuum session already fills the bin and I have to constantly empty the bin.
When emptying the bin though it is not fun / easy as half the dust/fur is stuck in the upper section and requires a clean.
The flexi tube design could be better - Everytime I use the long hose the vacuum would fall to the ground. I have to carry the vacuum in one hand and the handle in the other. That is just plain inconvenient.
Converting the vacuum to a handheld stick is also cumbersome.
I am giving it a 3 out of 5 because it is a kickstarter product. However if I have tried it at a store there is no way I will pay for this expensive machinery.”

“This is the first time I've had a cordless upright. We'd been thinking about getting a Dyson cordless but after trying a friend's Dyson we thought that it felt a bit heavy. With the Lupe pure cordless all the weight is at the base so this is no longer an issue. It's very easy to maneuver and it's relatively easy to get into hard to reach places. We need around 1.5 charges for our 100m^2 home. It is very easy to select the different modes and we are happy with the clean look. Overall we are very pleased with it and would recommend this product to someone looking for a high quality cordless vacuum!”

“This vacuum has fantastic suction and is effective right up to the edges. It has a unique yet functional look and I am in awe of their good old fashioned “made in Britain, made to last” approach which makes this a real investment and a enhances environmental awareness.
The only thing that lets this vacuum down is it’s inability to cope with long hair. However - I am aware that Lupe is currently working on this and I look forward to seeing what they come up with.
So if you’ve got long haired people in your household, I’d hold off buying one until they launch the new version or part. If this isn’t an issue for you I would highly recommend this vacuum.
As a side note, if you’ve an average sized home, I think one battery would suffice.”

“The positive is that it is well made, and heavy duty. The motor appears strong and it does the job it's supposed to do. The downside is that it is awkward to use. The vacuum head only works when the handle is tilted down quite a bit. If you are tall and want to vacuum with the handle upright it doesn't work. It is impossible to vacuum steps due to this and the weight and awkward positioning. The hose is too short and so tightly bound that it takes a lot of effort to stretch it out and then it snaps back. I am pulling on it all the time while trying to use. The attachments for the hose are hooked on the vacuum handle and not only get in the way but fall off a lot. Overall I don't like it.”
