“Review of Lupe Pure cordless sweeper
Pros
Right out of the box impressed with the packaging with clear instructions
Assembly easy
We have rugs at entry ways that collect grass and dirt - picked up most everything
No bag was a winner - emptying tank was easy
We have 3,000 sq ft to clean. Battery lasted using regular and eco as needed.
I thought it would be quieter - but - not so loud that I need my usual earplugs
Product is built extremely well with nothing feeling cheap or skimped on. NO plastic
8. Air from sweeper exhausts high so dirt not low
9. Takes up little floor space
Unfortunately none of the above make for an effective sweeper
Cons
Small brush that you attach to the long nozzle tube could have a wider opening and be bigger….as it clogs up with hair and also cannot run on eco and pick anything substantial off the floor
If you don’t remember to turn off the brush roller after sweeping a carpet, it will suck up any electric cord on the floor.
Attaching the hose back onto the main body is awkward. It requires you to turn the hose around which takes time.
Hair on brush is difficult to remove
Hair builds up on the sides of the head while sweeping instead of being sucked in.
NO light
Attachment holder just gets in the way
Cannot get under low furniture like V11 or my corded vacuum.
Tested the couch for cat hair removal - okay but hair tangles in brush entry
A very big CON is transitioning from sweeper to hand held. At least 4 steps.! It is awkward but easier after doing several times - V11 Dyson much quicker
Rotation of the head left and right on the floor took a while to get used to because it turns quickly. It tends to pull when turning.
Did side by side comparison with a V11 Dyson and Dyson won hands down for ease of use.”

“So far the vacuum overall seems pretty bad ass. One issue that I ran in to is when wand vacuuming with the head removed the base needs to be held because it is very unstable when upright. It seems to be ok if you leave the brush head on though.”

“I'm one of those people who do a ton of research before I buy any item. I want the best product at the best price. I'd been researching for a cordless vacuum cleaner for a couple of weeks and was close to making a purchase. I'd researched all the ones from Dyson, LG, Tineco, Miele ... I'd gone around all the local stores and done my on-line research. I was just about to purchase the Dyson V15. I wanted performance & power, but it just didn't feel right in my hand. My partner also found it too heavy up top and too ugly!?
It was then that I came across the Lupe in an on-line performance review of the best cordless vacuum cleaners in NZ. Lupe was top. I had never heard of Lupe so went to Vacumm Wars on You tube where it was graded the best cordless vaccum. Being an ex corporate man who has become on entrepreneur I also knew that better creativity and productivity was done by a small business, not a corporate and could totally relate to the founders story. I also loved their philosophy of upgrading parts and not the whole unit over time to be environmentally as friendly as possible. My partner also loved how sexy the Lupe looked ... & I'd be lying if I didn't say so myself.
The service when I was ordering just about brought a tear to my eye after experiencing the shocking level of corporate service that's now dominant in the world for so long. I t was good "old" fashioned top notch person to person service that was 100%. I ordered and my Lupe arrived within 5 days of ordering .... during a COVID lockdown in NZ! I got it quicker from Lupe on the other side of the world than across town.
Using the Lupe is totally intuitive, but I still recommend reading the instruction manual which is the best instruction manual I've read in years. Simple, clear & short. The very first day I had my new Lupe I decided to put it to the test. I cleaned my house, my car and then went around to my partner's apartment and decided to clean the area under her bed that had been inaccessible for 5 years. We took her bed apart to vacuum under her bed where her cat "lives". In just the area under a king size bed the Lupe picked up a full dustbin (1 litre) of "dust"! You could feel the suction power and the carpet changed colour. It did the job like a vacuum possessed! The suction power on this baby has to be experienced.
If I could provide 1 bit of feedback it would be to say that the dustbin design doesn't drop the dust down to the bottom all the time but it can stick up top around the filter a bit. Of course this can be simply overcome by keeping an eye on it and emptying it more often, but still there's always room for improvement.
