Very powerful yet light and easy to manoeuvre. And not having a cable to deal with or replace bags is great.
The only downside is realising how utterly filthy the house must have been prior to that first revelatory clean.”
“We changed from a stick vacuum cleaner to this model upright vacuum cleaner. We did have to adapt to this type of vacuum. This type of vacuum doesn't lift that easily. We have 2 small kids and we used to vacuum in between the stuff on the floor. That's not really comfortable with this vacuum when it's in upright mode. We also have 1 sofa where the Pure can't fit underneath when it's in upright mode.
However, after a small period of adapting, we got to the advantages:
- you can leave it everywhere in the house. It stand upright without support
- you can use it in "hand carry" mode. This is very useful for corners on the ceiling, the stairs and other places that were a nuisance with the stick vacuum. It also allows us to vacuum under that sofa.
- it vacuums everything. Also larger pieces of dirt (shells of nuts, ...). These were a problem with the stick vacuum we had before.
- it works well on carpet
- it's powerful
- and it has a very large dirt container. We've had the Pure for over a month now. We vacuum almost daily, and I emptied it for the first time today.
One negative maybe, when the 2 rollers are turning, it is a bit noisy. It's mainly the 2nd roller that is making the noise. You can turn it of. The Pure will still vacuum well, and the noise will be less.
It is not the cheapest, but it is an excellent vacuum.”
