The brush itself is very fluffy and dense. The brush hairs are even softer than the Luxie brushes that I own. They are feathery and light, so that you don't pick up too much product at a time. I have owned much heavier, denser brushes that tend to pick up too much powder or drag on my foundation, removing foundation as I run it along my face. But this brush is perfect for setting your foundation and just about anything you need. I love the rosegold handle, purple accents, and the lotus flower engraved on the bottom.
