“They blend in great with my hair. I have thick frizzy curly hair so I have to straighten my hair perfectly in order to wear the extensions but they look great. My hair is also thinning but the clips hide well under my real hair making it seem like I am not wearing any extensions. The only thing I didnt like is I noticed the extensions look thinner at tips compared to the top.”

“These were my first set of hair extensions and a purchase for a formal event where I needed a limited length and volume. The 1 black color ended up being a smidge too rich to match my hair.. the hair is very silky, which is good for most, but to match my African American hair, I do wish there were some different textures.”

To kindly let you know, all Luxy Hair extensions have a silicone coating applied to the hair that is done at the manufacturing level. It is coated in order to preserve the nutrients in the hair, and give it that extra shine and gloss upon arrival. After a few washes, however, it will gradually rinse off.
Therefore, in order to get a similar texture to your hair I suggest to wash your set a couple of times to see if it blends in better with your hair type.
You can wash your Luxies in cool or lukewarm water, using sulfate-free and alcohol-free shampoo and conditioner. Shampoo should be rinsed out quickly within 30-60 seconds, and we highly recommend to also use a conditioner afterwards to moisturize the hair, otherwise, your Luxies may feel dry and/or tangly. We recommend to let your Luxy set air dry on a dry towel.
