“I don't normally leave reviews but I just had to share my experience with my Luxy extensions.
I've had my extensions for a few weeks now and I LOVE THEM!!!!! First off, the quality of hair exceeded my expectations. When it came out of the box it was so soft, and it has stayed soft for the last 10 or so times I've worn them. When I took the extensions to the salon to be cut, several of the stylists commented on how gorgeous and high quality the extensions were.
My reason for buying extensions was not for length, but to add volume to the ends of my hair (which tend to get wispy) and to the back of my head. Also, I wanted something as low maintenance as possible so I didn't want hair hanging past my bra line (my personal preference). I had the stylist cut quite a bit of length off. I was worried it would look fake, but honestly when I look at the back of my head I cannot see the difference between my hair and the extensions at all.
My other main concern with extensions is whether they would actually stay put. My hair is very smooth, and in the past, other brands of extensions would slide down my head even after being clipped in. I used to have to tease and hairspray the area (which is terrible for your hair) just to get them to stay put. The Luxy clips are perfect. I put them in and they do not budge at all, but they do not pull or feel tight. The other brands of extensions I used in the past used to give me headaches from pulling on my head all day.
Lastly, I'm so happy with how generous an amount of hair came with my order. I ordered the medium weight, and find that most days I only need to use about half of them to get the desired effect. I love that it takes literally 3 minutes to put them in and I actually forget they're on my head. I've worn them everywhere, even to yoga, and they felt like part of me.
I will DEFINITELY be buying these extensions again.
I highly recommend this business- this is a quality product that does exactly what it says it will, and is totally worth the price.
Note to Luxy: it would be super helpful to add step by step illustrated instructions on how to place them on your head, either to the website or to the box instead of just making a video.”

“To start off its been a long time since I've used extensions in my hair. I did it in high school and college, experimenting with wigs and clip in from the local beauty store in the corner. I had friends try braid-in weaves and frankly it all looked ghetto and fake. I've never died my hair before its a dark brownish black or from what luxy hair has taught me an off black. I have relatively tightly curled hair that I loosen up with a keratin texturized to create more of a Latina, loose curl for manageability. So I needed clip ins that would blend well when I blow my my straight. I also am in love with the ethereal mermaid waves from Danerys from Game of Thrones, so I needed at least 20-24 inches of length. FYI my hair is layered to a V shape and comes to just above the middle of my back when straightened. So I hesitantly bought the 20 inch, Off Black, 160 gram 1B clip ins and am pleasantly shocked. They blend amazingly well with my hair and I haven't even straightened it yet! I tested the color in my bathroom light and by a window with a mirror and the color blends perfectly. I was so shocked by how huge of a difference it makes to have the color fit just perfectly. The main game changer for luxy hair is when I opened my package the box has a special untaped section with one weft of hair to TEST THE COLOR AND LENGTH!!! If you open the other portion of the box you cannot return or exchange your hair. As long as you keep the test weft attached to the little piece of cardboard you can put it back if the color is not what you want. How awesome is this? I made the purchase not knowing this was possible and had planned on eye balling the hair through the box to test the color but this is so much more user friendly and considerate of luxy hair! So if your on the fence about the color buy them anyways and test it for yourself with the sample weft. If you like it the weft joins in with the rest of the hair! I haven't tried on all my clip ins yet so thats why I haven't given five stars, but so far so good. I have a good feeling about how these will turn out!”

I'm glad that you appreciate the tester weft included so that you can compare it to your hair before deciding to keep it. “although I have a pixie haircut which makes it so hard to have a natural look, with luxy I was able to have that natural looking hair, and I assume if I had a longer hair it would definitely look even more fabulous! it's a bit pricy but totally worth it”
