“I'm a first-time wearer of extensions. I had been wearing a wig to grow out a pixie cut for the last 6 months. Once my hair reached a good length to get the Luxy extensions I was ecstatic! The quality is unreal, and absolutely gorgeous. To blend better with my hair, I did have my Luxy's cut by my hair stylist... which is completely OK and still gorgeous. I have no doubt that when my hair reaches a longer length, I will buy these again and not cut them. They're comfortable, stay in ALL day. I've curled, straightened and even got all fancy with some up-do's and I've become a master at hiding the edges. My hair is still shorter than most, but takes no time to attached the clips...I spend my time manipulating the wefts to blend perfectly. I LOVE THEM!! The Color is gorgeous and a perfect match to my dark brown hair. I would love to buy the ombre color when I can take advantage for the full length! I purchased the 160g Dark Brown set and it's a perfect fullness for my hair. The 120g would not be enough (for me) and the 220 would be too much hair for right now. I was sad to cut them, but my hair stylist did a fantastic job. I will definitely buy these again!”

“I love therse extensions. Soft and wonderful. I think maybe next time I might get the next thickness up as my hair is a little on the thicker side. Also I had to wash mine after one wear because the heat (curling iron) made them smell a little funny. But once I washed it j had no problems.”

I'm so glad to hear that you love your new Dark Brown Luxies. In terms of the burning smell, I recommend to either lower the temperature of your curling iron, or hold your hair in it for less amount of time, to prevent burning it. However, I'm glad that it no longer smells.

Thank you for leaving your review of your recent Luxy Hair purchase. You look absolutely gorgeous!
The 160g set is designed for those with medium hair types. If you hair is shorter, it can be tricky because you technically need more hair to conceal the shorter layers.
If you are open to it, you can choose to purchase the thicker 220g set and use a few wefts from there to compensate for this set, and then store away the rest for future use.
Also, as another suggestion, feel free to wash your set with sulfate-free products. Usually a wash thickens and poofs them up a little which may help them appear thicker and therefore blend better :)
