“Was in Vegas with my BFF for a Girls weekend in September and I tried a panel of hers while we hit the town for the Pitbull and Marc Anthony concerts both nights. Loved them sooo much I ordered them while we were still in Vegas. Got them cut with the layers so they look more natural and I have been wearing them everyday day since. LOVE LOVE THEM! “These by far are the best extensions ever..The color match is spot on they are great quality hair . They curl and straighten amazingly. The clips are very duarble . I will definitely be ordering again when I wanna go lighter for the spring . I've gotten so many compliments on my hair . No one knows I'm wearing extensions which is what you stride for . “I have very fine wavy dark hair, with my wedding fast approaching I was so disappointed that I simply did not have enough hair to do any hairstyle I wanted. I bought my luxies mostly for my wedding but have worn them just because a few times. I probably could have gone with a lower gram set as my hair is quite fine, I never clipped in all of the luxies. The color matched very closely and are lightweight enough that once you get used to the extensions, you don't notice them at all. They are very very long, which is not a bad thing but I think shorter or more Petite girls may be happier with the length after a trimming. I'm 5'9" and they came down to the small of my back. Overall they are great if you don't mind spending some time on your hair, but I'm a wash n' go kind of girl so I don't wear mine much, but they are amazing for special event updos. I can not attest to how well they hold up to being worn every day, I washed them once and there was some shedding but it wasn't excessive. My biggest gripe is the smell of fresh luxies, it's a little chemically and unless you have perfectly straight hair, you have to mess up the perfectly straight extensions to get them to blend with your hair. Washing them helped them match my natural hair a lot and so did curling and the use of mousse. They worked perfectly for my wedding and I think Luxies are a great set of extensions!”

I'm very glad to hear that your Dark Brown Luxies are a close match to your hair color, and that after getting used to wearing your extensions, you barely noticed them clipped in your hair. One of the best thing about hair extensions, as you mentioned, is that the hair style possibilities seem to become endless - you can create so many more styles. In regards to the smell of your extensions, I believe you may be referring to the silicone coating that is applied to the hair during the manufacturing level. This is done in order to preserve the nutrients in the hair, and give it that extra shine and gloss upon arrival. After a few washes, however, the coating will gradually rinse off.
