“I started my search for hair extensions simply because I have short hair and I missed having it long. A friend recommended Luxy to me so I checked them out. After seeing their page truthfully I didn't even look into any other extension brands, I was sold. Now I have never worn extensions before so I have zero experience or knowledge with them. First impression was the packaging was really nice! I know right, who cares about the packaging? Well the box it came in was so cute and I keep it to store my extensions when I'm not wearing them!
Next I noticed how soft the hair was...like insanely soft.
Now remember I have never worn extensions before, so as a first time user I found that clipping these in were really easy! Plus there are tons of videos on their site and YouTube. My extensions blended into my natural hair really well, no one can tell their clip ins.
Now I should also say I bought the medium thickness ones, which I would recommend. I couldn't imagine my hair looking so good or natural had I bought the thinnest choice of extensions.
So here's where they lost a star in my review.
After two or three months I decided it was time to wash them. I watched the tutorial just in case and everything. Well my extensions lost SO much hair. I was floored by the amount of hair that fell out as I was washing, rinsing, and brushing them!!!
I regret washing them so much and I wish I would have waited longer! So unless your extensions noticeably need it WAIT to wash them!!
But overall as a new customer to Luxy, I LOVED these hair extensions, and I will most definitely be buying from them again in the future! They are worth the money!!”
“I have never worn extensions in my life. I'm getting married next year and want to wear extensions but because I've never had them I wanted to purchase some early and see if they are good quality and if I could handle wearing them all day. I had no idea where to turn to purchase them but my bridal hair girl recommended luxy. After 2 months of researching I purchased them and .... OMG! They are FANTABULOUS! I researched both negative and positive reviews so I was sure what I was getting into as they are not cheap. I have nothing negative to share at all. My clips are sewn in perfectly so there is no fraying at the sides and sure they shed but HELLO its hair. I loose so much of my own hair just brushing so that's nothing new, also the shedding is nothing that I expected, they shed less than my own hair. I get so sad now when I take them out because my own hair just doesn't compare.
I have received sooooo many compliments on my hair and people can't even tell that its extensions, they blend perfectly, are so soft and shiny. I literally have to show people the clip because they don't believe me. My hair looks great and I feel great about my hair! I will definitely be purchasing another set to have for my wedding next summer!! Thank you Luxy!!”
