“I have just received my Luxies in Dark Brown (20 inch set, 160 g) and am super thrilled about the color match, the quality of the hair and the length. Yesterday I clipped them in for the first time and was extremely happy with the result. The only thing that came to my attention was that the extensions were somehow heavy when clipped in and exerted a constant pressure on the scalp. Is this just temporarily until I get used to it or did I perhaps clip them in a wrong way? Could you give me some tips about how to clip them in in order to minimize the pressure on the scalp?

We are so happy to hear that you are loving the quality of your Dark Brown set. Like any other clip in hair extensions, you will feel a bit of pressure on your scalp when wearing your set. This is because the hair needs to tightly hold on to your hair in order to remain secure in your head. Rest assured, this is only temporary as your scalp adjusts to the new addition to your hair.

“I'm pleased with these extensions and Luxy Hair. Originally I had ordered a color that was too dark and they were very helpful through the exchange process. These extensions don't even shed and they are made very well. I have used heat on them with no issues. The only thing that I have difficulty with is that when I curl them, they don't match my hair when it is curled because the texture is and weight of the hair is different than mine. My hair is naturally curly and the texture is dull whereas the extensions are a nice smooth texture and they fall looser when curled than mine does. I haven't tried curling them in my hair yet though so I may try that. I have noticed that if I braid them tightly when they are wet and let it dry over a day or two they end up looking like my natural hair which is nice since it's no heat. But I can wear them straight with my hair straightened and they look nice. It is a lot of hair for the money so it is a very good deal. :) thank you Luxy”

As a quick tip, I recommend clipping your Luxies weft by weft starting at the bottom and then curling that section (of your own hair + extensions) together in order for them to blend in more naturally. And you're absolutely right about doing a heatless wave to your Luxies! Since they're human hair, you can style them just like you would your own hair in order to achieve that texture match (by the way, here are 7 different heatless methods you could try: bit.ly/7heatlesscurls). “I was hesitant to try clip ins but I desperately wanted extensions to get my length back after I had to chop it off due to damage. I did months and months of research and luxy had the best reputation, look, price and people seemed so friendly! They arrived in under 2 weeks, to Australia! I was worried the colour wouldn't match but it's actually perfect! People who haven't seen me for months just think it's my natural hair, absolutely seamless.
