“The truth is I have only wore my hair Luxy's three times. I felt like I need to let my hair grow a little longer. I didn't like how my hair fitted with the Luxy's because it looked choppy. I don't want to cut or layer my Luxy's neither after spending what I paid for them. Overall, they are a pretty good set of hair extensions. I just wish I could wear them more often, but my job doesnt allow me too.”

Inez, I'm sorry to hear that your hair extensions are not blending the way you'd like.
I can see from our email history that I helped give you some suggestions for blending your set with your hair a few months ago. Did you try any of my tips, Inez?
I understand that you may not want to cut them shorter, however, you can still keep the length but add layers into the hair and this will help them blend better with your shorter hair type.
As you mentioned, you are welcome to wait a little longer for your hair to grow, and this will definitely be easier for blending.

“I absolutely love my Luxy hair extensions! The color blended perfectly with my hair and even had a rent tint which helped when it came to being outdoors and having the sun hit it! The thickness is also spot on! I loved that it also came with so many wefts!
The only small complaint would be that i haven't been able to get my extensions back to their softness after washing it once... due to this i might have to replace my extensions sooner than expected which is unfortunate....There also is a bit of shedding anytime i brush them...
Otherwise luxy hair extensions are my go to!!”

I'm delighted that you love your new Luxies so much, and that the colour and thickness are a perfect match.
Jazmin, we encourage Luxy users to wash the extensions ever 15-20 wears, if not more. This is because the more often they are washed, the dryer they will become, and the sooner they will need to be replaced.
When washing, it is best to use a sulfate-free shampoo and conditioner, so that they are not being stripped of their silkiness. Kindly wash each weft in lukewarm water, avoiding the top clip area.
At this time, because you say they have lost some softness, I suggest to deep-condition the set for several hours or overnight with a good quality deep-conditioner. Leave them to air dry once it's been washed out and then style them as you normally would. Adding in a hair oil on the ends will also add to the softness of the hair. Please give this a try and see how it goes.
