“I ordered ash blonde: Hair feels great when I got it out of the box but color was yellow so I did a quick rinse in a warm water with purple shampoo-results are great-you just have to be quick But when i was rinsing with clean water it feels like a lot of product that is on hair was coming off. I am a professional hair stylist and color a lot of hair extensions for my clients I understand that to have hair extensions feeling great-its important for companies to have products on hair but I wish it wouldn't rinse That easily or they should sell products to kip extensions in great condition longer.”

Ernesto, I'm glad that you were able to tone your Ash Blonde Luxies with purple shampoo to get them more ashy in colour. The Ash Blonde shade does have yellow tones in the hair, so you can certainly tone them to your desired shade of blonde.
In terms of the product rinsing off, this is the first time I'm hearing of such a thing. Our extensions so have a slight silicone layer on top, however, this should not come off so easily. Please be sure to use sulfate-free products and wash the hair in warm water for about 30 seconds to a minute.

“This is my 2nd set of luxies. They look natural after I took them to my stylist to get lowlights to match my hair. I would have loved to try the silicone clips, however, because the cloth/metal is heavy and pulls on your hair and leaves you with a sore scalp at the end of the day. Price was the only thing that stopped me from trying the silicone.”

I'm sorry to hear that the Classic collection's clips are pulling on your hair. I suggest to try clipping them in about 1" down from your scalp and you can even try teasing the area where the clip will go to add more hold, and therefore pull less. “So this is my first time buying hair extensions. I mostly bought them for more fullness and I have pretty fine to medium hair. I definitely could have gotten the thinner ones but chose the medium and am happy! The ash blonde was still a little brassy so I toned them when I first got them. They’ve lasted many wears over the last few months and I’ve washed them more often than probably needed after nights out lol, but they’re still holding up very well. A few strands have come out but I think it’s bevause I accidentally brushed a little too hard recently. Overall, very happy with the quality and a great first extension experience!”

Also, I'm glad that you were able to tone them to match your shade of blonde exactly. Please know that your Luxies only require to be washed every 15-20 wears if not longer. This ensure that they stay moisturized and healthy longer. Sulfate-free products are recommended to maintain the integrity of the hair.

“I am very pleased with my new Luxy extensions. I received them far quicker than anticipated, which helped me adjust to them before an upcoming event. I will say that I find the ash more of a honey or butter blonde rather than a true “ash”. I did not need to tone them and they blend well!”
