I've tried several hair extension brands and Luxy is one of the best. They lasted me a long time and the quality is awesome. The customer service is also outstanding. I will continue to purchase from this company

I was nervous to order the extensions considering they are not cheap. With the exchange from US to CAD they were just over $200, then I had to pay duties on top of that. But when they arrived I was very happy with them. They were not too shiny as others have said, and felt like they were good quality. I was also pleased with the amount of hair I received since I only chose the 160g in Ash Blonde. I did also have to tone them with some purple shampoo but that was easy. I was a bit disappointed that they didn't last as long as some of the other extensions I have purchased in the past from other companies. I don't wash them very often... Maybe once a month and I do deep condition them, and use a heat protector on them and store them properly. I've done everything by the book with them. I just wish they would have lasted a bit longer. They really dried out sooner than I was hoping. I can say however that there was not too much shedding at all, which was a major concern ahead of time! I would say by the end of two months they were really already on their last leg. I am going to try them again and hope they will last a bit longer. I actually just ordered. I do also wish they shipped and sold out of Toronto. It would definitely make my life easier not having to pay the duties and shipping time would be quicker. The exchange is also hard on the wallet. Overall I was pleased with the product.

It means a lot :) Michelle, I'm glad that you are overall pleased with your Luxy Hair Extensions, especially after hearing that you wish they would have lasted longer. As a friendly reminder, the lifespan of Luxies is anywhere from 3-6 months to sometimes a year, depending how often they are worn, washed and the general care and maintenance they receive. If you have worn them 3+ times a week, it can be possible for them to last 2-3 months. Once they start getting dry and hard to manage, this is a sign that they may need to be replaced. Michelle, it sounds like you are taking very good care of your extensions. We do recommend to wash them every 15-20 wears, if not longer. This is because the more they are washed, the dryer they may become. Also, sulfate-free products are best to use as they do not strip the hair of it's natural oils. I appreciate that you took another chance on our extensions and I'm sorry that the price is higher considering the not so great exchange rate right now, not including the extra possible duties at the time of delivery. My only complaint is that I had to pay $50 duty when I received them because it said they were shipped from China, but I was not expecting this as I ordered them from the US.

Hi dear Kaitlin, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. I'm sorry to hear that you had to pay customs when the package was delivered. As they were shipped from our US warehouse (according to my records), or anywhere from outside of Canada, it is possible and likely that you will have to pay a customs tax once they arrive into your country. In the future, should you not wish to pay the tax at the time of delivery, feel free to refuse them and they will be shipped back to our warehouse at which point, we can proceed with a refund. This is my second set of luxy hair extensions and I love them!!! There so thick and easy to clip in! I'm a hairstylist and I tell my clients about them all the time!

Just wish they were thicker or at least added wefts. Also colour was not ashy at all but other than that quality was great and shipping wasn't very long.

I appreciate your feedback regarding the 160g set. This set is designed for medium hair types. If you feel like it's not thick enough for your hair, then you would probably want to opt for the next thicker 220g set as your replacement in the future. We do not offer spare wefts at this time, however, you can purchase another set, use a few wefts from there and store away the rest for future use. I received my order very quickly. They were basically the perfect shade-a little purple shampoo and I was good. Great quality although the clips slip a little even with teasing, hairspray and the non-slip rubber on the clips. Overall I'm happy :)

The clips should be extremely secure, however, if you have really fine silky hair, then teasing and some hairspray should really add the extra grip needed. I got the ash blonde color. They are such good quality but they are definitely more of a warm color as opposed to cool like what I was expecting. Purple shampoo did the trick but I was bummed I couldn't wear them right away. Other than that they were awesome and customer service was so helpful!
