“Long post but I wish someone wouldve told me before i purchased. I've been wearing extensions for 10+ years and I was really excited about ordering from Luxy - it took me a bit to convince myself to pay so much for hair but I just knew they were going to be worth it, sadly, i'm a little disappointed. Although the color and volumn are great, the first thing i noticed was how bulky the clips are for the "Classic" extensions. I have thin hair so my natural hair will show lumps and bumps, ecspecailly in the front/top areas. The quality of the actual hair is better than some but definately not the best i've had. Taking them out of the box they were super soft and silky, they styled well enough (it didn't hold as well as I would've liked) and it seemed rougher/dryer after styling. Then just after 1 wash, they lost a lot of their shine and softness, it also tangles pretty badly with my natural hair and will look matted. Just kinda coarse and stiff. Overall I feel like quality extensions are getting harder to come by these days - although these are wearable, they just aren't quite as good as I had hoped. If you have thin hair maybe try the seamless - I personally just don't like the tape-like look, its too noticable in my thin hair, i feel the "classic" is more camouflage, these just happen to be a lot bulkier than i've ever seen.
**Side note: I take care of my extensions and use the proper protectant. And even if that wasn't the case, I don't feel like hair of good quality would get this dry and prone to tangles after just a few weeks of wear and 1-2 washes.”

“I'm so so so glad that I decided to go with Luxy Hair Extensions instead of getting them done at the salon. I know the salon route looks fab but it's so ridiculously expensive and then you have to maintain it as your hair grows out. There's no need for this with Luxy Hair. Just snap it in and voila! Your hair looks amazing and totally sexy. Seriously, prepare to be mauled ladies! I did chat with a Luxy hair consultant before ordering and I'm so glad I did. Do not skip this step!!!! I sent a pic in of my hair and the consultant made a spot-on recommendation. You cannot even tell that my hair extensions are clip in. It is literally amazing. Truly. It does take some careful application to get these in but after they're in...wow is all I can say. I like my set so much, I just ordered the ponytail bc this is a style that I wear quite a lot in the Summer. If you are at all hesitant bc of the price (which is steep but worth it!) DON'T BE. These extensions are the real deal and totally worth it. You will not be disappointed!!!! Thank you LUXY!!”

“These were great for one to two time use. They are already extremely frizzy and look like they have heat damage after one use. Beautiful color. It was too light for my hair and was extremely hard to match to my hair through the photos- but the balayage was well done. Not sure how much longer they will last as far as the hair looking healthy goes. Not sure if they’re worth the price point. Would recommend to a friend to use for a special event. Not sure I would recommend to a friend who wants to use them for every day and long term use.”
