I can honestly say that Luxy Hair Extensions are one of the better quality hair extension companies that I've ever purchased from. My only complaint is that there is no length choice. I don't need 18-20 inch extensions. I cut 5 inches off immediately. Overall I am very satisfied with my extensions.”

“This is my first set of extensions and wow I wish I would have gotten some sooner! They feel and look like my real hair. I've worn them about 7 times now and they still are holding up extremely well (haven't washed them yet). I had my hair stylist trim them a little for me which helps them to blend even more seamlessly with my natural hair. “I’ve had my Luxys for about 2 months and when I first got them they were super shiny and beautiful. They didn’t deteriorate or get worse over time and I’ve even washed them and they didn’t have that cheap shiny coating on them like some brands do. They’ve never slipped out of my hair thanks to the silicone band under the clip. Theyre super soft and the color is just like the picture I highly reccomend.”

“Pros:
- Beautiful hair, very high quality
- Seamless bonding is AMAZING (sits flatter on the head, tracks don't show as easily and more comfortable to wear)
- Stood up very well to colour treating by my stylist
Cons:
- I have dirty blonde hair and the colour did not blend with my hair at all. The colour is quite yellow so you will probably have to get then toned by your stylist
- They are VERY long, I got almost 6 inches cut off to have them blend with my hair better which felt like a waste of hair and money
- The first time I heart treated them this weird dark string material melted off the wefts, once it melted off they were fine, but it was weird and awkward to deal with
Overall much better than other brands I've tried in the past and the seamless is definitely worth the extra money”

Kristen, I'm glad to hear that your new Seamless Dirty Blonde Luxies are beautiful, high quality and the seamless band is so flat and comfortable on your head. Also, I'm glad that they took easily to hair dye.
Thank you for your constructive feedback that the Dirty Blonde shade is quite yellow. As you did, they can certainly be dyed to be more ashy or gold in colour to suit your hair colour. Also, we only offer one length as this time, so if your hair is shorter, you may need to simply cut off the extra hair in order for it to look most natural.
Lastly, can you please let me know what temperature you have your heat tools set at? If you’re styling your Luxies using high temperature, this could be the cause for the melting you are experiencing.
We recommend to set your tool at 120C/250F, as anything higher runs the risk of damaging the hair. The reason why we recommend opting for a lower heat setting is because it will prolong the lifespan of your set. While our own hair may be able to handle a high heat setting, our hair is also constantly getting revitalized from the scalp, whereas hair extensions don’t get that sort of nutrition.
