“The hair is beautiful however the string on top is impossible to hide unless you have pretty thick hair. I suspect if you did, you won’t need this except for length. Don’t be fooled by the videos which make it look easy. It isn’t. Also beware of the return policy and study it well.”
“First off, right out of the box - these extensions had me questioning my purchase. The hair felt limp and cheap and way too shiney. Almost synthetic. There was no way they were going to blend with my hair right out of the box. So, I HIGHLY suggest, washing the extensions right out of the box. Once I did and blow dried them, the hair fluffed up beautifully like I was hoping. It will be wonderful to style and wear.
Second, these extensions have zero layers. Blending with shorter hair will prove difficult. My hair is shoulder length with a bit of a blunt cut, but my hair is fine. I need to take these to my hairstylist and have her blend in some layers. Which I'm OK with.
Third, I wish the crown/band on this extension had about an extra inch to 1.5in on it. I have a Halo Couture and it fits my head perfectly. It's about an inch to 1.5in wider that this Luxy extension. Maybe my head is just on the larger side, but I really don't like that I HAVE to use the clip-ins on the side of my head to get fuller coverage around my face. My hair is fine and slippery and there's a reason I use the Halo extensions. Clips don't stay in very well for me and I find them EXTREMELY uncomfortable.
Fourth and final point, I like that it came with multiple band sizes for the halo. However, the band itself is a really thick clear band and it's stretchy. Which I found odd and do not like. I will be replacing it with a thinner non-stretch band myself. It's not a huge deal. I had my husband help me with the band on my Halo Couture one as well.
Overall, I'm excited to style and wear these extensions. The hair itself is beautiful and I love the richness of the color I purchased. A few tweaks to the overall design would make it even better in my opinion. Luxy has very fast shipping, which I appreciated.”

“The color is great and I like the dimension and added volume the halo extensions give me. My only negative experience is that they do not hold a curl. I'm not sure if I'm using too low of a heat setting with my curling iron (280 degrees F), I just don't want to ruin the extensions. :/”

“There was a lot of stray uneven hair length in my halo. Color description was inaccurate. More of a reddish medium brown, definitely not dark. There was also some blond strands in the blend that bothered me. I expected a lot more from these halos extensions for the price point. Most likely would not purchase again.”

“The hair is okay. It’s a little thinner than I expected. I also hate the clasp that comes with it. I have a really hard time putting my extensions on without my hair getting caught on the clasps. I’ve changed the wire many times and it still causes the same problem. I wish I can return it but their policy states once the box is open, it’s nonrefundable. The order came with wefts for the buyers to try on before opening the box to ensure the color of the hair extensions meet expectations and you can return if it does not, with the box unopened. That much I understand. But matching the hair color to yours and putting on the extensions is a different ordeal. Again, I wish I can return it for a refund because it’s not easy to out on.”
