“Got my 220g dirty blonde luxys after about 3 weeks. They only took 1 day to process and ship out, a few days to get the the Canadian border, and that's where they stayed for a while. Lol Which isn't the company's fault at all. Just busy season
Hair is unreal soft, and really thick. They're lighter in colour than I thought they were going to be, but that's perfectly fine.
Only point of confusion/complaint would be that when I styled them on medium heat with a curling wand black streaks coming off on the wand. Kept wiping the wand to clean it, and there was always more black stuff. This is strange since they're supposed to be 100% human hair. Hmm
Either way, they're lovely. Just not sure why there seems to be synthetic hair in them.”

As all Luxies come with a sample weft, you are able to check if the shade is a good match - if the colour is not an ideal match, the Luxy Hair Support team is more than happy to accommodate a return or exchange.
I have also taken a look at your order's tracking information, and it looks like your package was held for inspection by the Canadian Border Services Agency, which is the reason for the delay at the Canadian border.
In regards to the black streaks mentioned, Luxy Hair extensions are made with 100% Remy human hair, however, we advise to use a heat setting to a maximum of 250F when styling the hair with hot tools, as anything higher could damage the hair.

“I bought Luxy dirty blonde clip ins in 20". I received them fast and the color was exactly what I expected. I've been using them for about a month and have no complaints. The hair is soft and thick all the way through. The hair has curled beautifully and held the curls. The best part is the clips. They are strong and comfortable. I don't tease my hair at all and they stay in place. Although I have pretty thick and somewhat coarse hair so that could be a factor. I haven't experienced any shedding or matting. Overall I'm happy with my Luxy's.”

However, I was very disappointed at how quickly the extensions began to loose their luxurious shine and texture. I use a standard amount of heat, of about 350° maybe only once once or twice a week (depending), and I never use any product and I haven't even washed them yet; and already on the 4th week their getting worn out! I'm sorry to hear that your Luxies are losing their shine and texture. To kindly let you know, we recommend to set your heat styling tools at a low heat temperature of 120C/250F, as anything higher runs the risk of damaging the hair. The reason why we recommend opting for a lower heat setting is because it will prolong the lifespan of your set. While our own hair may be able to handle a high heat setting, our hair is also constantly getting revitalized from the scalp, whereas hair extensions don't get that sort of nutrition.
In order to restore the moisture back into your set, and to ensure the hair remains nourished and healthy, I suggest to wash your extensions and leave a deep conditioner/mask on the extensions for 5-6 hours. “I've thought a long time about buying them because they are quite expensive, but they are so worth it! I sent a picture to the luxy team and they recommended the dirty blonde set. The color is seriously a perfect match for me and I love my new look with my luxies :) People often don't believe it when I tell them it's not my real hair cause you seriously can't tell. I'm still learning about the right placement so the clips won't show, but I'm doing better already. I've had them for a few weeks now and haven't worn them everyday so they're still new. I'm curious how they will be after a lot more wears and washes but I think that'll go well. The shipment started out very fast, but got slowed down by customs at Schiphol airport unfortunately. The package was over there for about 6 days. Not Luxy Hair's fault though :) Long story short: I'd totally recommend these clip ins!”

“My hair is relatively short but VERY thick so I was in the market for shorter clip ins that would be very high quality. I came across Luxies and began looking at youtube reviews, which mostly sounded very positive. These were a little longer than I was hoping for but being that they are human hair I knew I could cut and style them. When I ordered them my hair was a bleach blonde-ish with dark roots... I hadn't toned my hair in a few weeks so it was looking fairly yellow. The extensions arrived and matched my hair PERFECTLY. I mean you just could not see a color difference between my hair and the extensions. I think it helps that they have various subtle tones in the hair so it matches to many different tones. They were very easy to cut and super easy to dye the roots dark just using a box color myself. I also want to say that rival brands seem to take over a month to ship whereas these were express ordered and literally got here in 2 days... just fabulous.
The quality of the hair is a 5 stars. I have not only dyed the roots, I have now dyed the hair a darker color twice and they still feel and look great. The hair was so thick and luscious that it behaved just like my own. The clips are fairly good but I will say that two of my wefts the clips were a little loose and needed to be tightened; also the clips themselves can tend to slide but in their defense, I don't tease or prep my hair to make the clips even more secure. Honestly I have worked out in my clip ins (I'm a personal trainer) and they stay on just fine.
I think for Christmas I will be ordering another set for myself but in the brown color so that it matches my natural hair... Honestly ladies you won't be disappointed with these!”
