Chamois cream can help to lubricate your thighs when pulling these up your legs if you’re a little sweaty prior to putting these on but if you’re nice and dry before your ride, these pull-up just fine over the thighs, it just needs some extra tug to pull them up in place.
And once they’re positioned where they should be (the leg grippers gripping your thighs; straps not digging into your shoulders and the chamois padding your contact points and privates) these are superb.
I have a bib rotation (Rapha Pro Team II, Attaquer Limited, Stolen Goat Epic) and I always look forward to using the MAAP EVO, sometimes even skipping other bibs in the rotation just so I can wear the EVOs sooner. Just shows you how damn good the EVOs are (to me at least).
If you’re hesitant to purchase these, don’t, just go for it, they’re true to size as well so stay true to what you’d normally wear with other bibs on the market (I’m 63kg, 170cm, wear an S).”
