“Hands down the best pad I've ever worn. Just incredibly good. The pad is so good that it instantly made these my favorite bibs. That being said, my one complaint—and I was worried about this from looking at the product photos—is that the low straight waistband is every bit as uncomfortable as it looks, at least on my body shape. I'm not sure why MAAP decided to go with a flat low waist (vs. a U-shaped band that sits higher up like most bibs), but I regularly have to adjust the waistband because it gets into an uncomfortable position. I'm 5'11" 170lbs (1.80m 77kg), so I'm reasonably fit but certainly not 0% body fat, and (TMI but let's get specific) the waistband kind of jams into my belly and causes little fat rolls to fold over the band and I have to pull it away and up to get comfortable again. I've never experienced this with other bibs. Maybe this isn't a problem for super skinny riders, but just worth pointing out if you have a body shape more like mine. Regardless, ultimately the pad and the rest of the bibs are so comfortable that these are still my new favorite bib. I'd rather have to adjust the waistband than the pad like I usually do with other bibs—this pad stays put and is so awesome. Long story short: Highly recommended with just that one small caveat.”
