“First of all, the Stuffed Turkey Roast is quite delicious once cooked. However, the cooking time was nearly twice as long as recommended. I actually bought 2 of these roasts and got to try the experiment twice. Oven well-preheated to 375; using two different thermometers to make sure it wasn't a thermometer issue. The recommended time is ~45 minutes. The first roast took 95 minutes and I may have taken it out a little early simply because I couldn't believe it was taking that long. So the second roast I did like a laboratory experiment. Same result: not 45 mins but 105 minutes (1hr and 45 mins) to 165 degrees. Delicious but it can really mess up your meal timing when the main dish takes twice as long as expected.”
“The stuffed turkey roast was certainly very convenient to prepare (pop into oven and remove in 45 minutes), but if you're used to having a roasted turkey on Thanksgiving it is a disappointment. Now I realize I'm not comparing apples to apples here so to speak, and that we were not going to have anything quite as tasty as the real deal, but it really wasn't even close. The quality of this entree was lacking in flavor, tenderness of the meat and overall appeal on the palette. It was kind of similar to a TV dinner replacement for the real thing. We wanted to try something a bit different and simpler this year. That turned out being a mistake that won't be repeated.”
“The turkey you made was excellent. It was easy to cook and just the right size for six. We enjoyed it for two dinners after Thznksgiving. No meds to clean up after Thankgiving finner. Gravy worked great”
