“This is our first order from Makensie. We were surprised at how frozen food traveling over so many miles tasted so good. The Wellington was crisp on the top and not soggy on the bottom. The meat quality was excellent. The rest of the meal was also really good.”

“Caramelized onion & feta pastry blossoms were tasty. Twice Baked potato was good.
Beef wellington was not what we expected. We had to cook it longer than instructed to do in order to get pastry to brown. The meat was favored but overcooked. Not sure how to get pastry to brown. Molten chocolate dessert was delicious. I may order again but not the beef wellington. Maybe someone there will let me know how to cook this.”
“It was pretty good but I’m not sure I’d order again. For a $200 order it just wasn’t quite good enough. It was an easy preparation but I would probably order a meal from a local restaurant next time.”

“I have never been more dissapointed in a meal. In 79 years, as a professional chef, and home cook I can say that was the toughest piece of meat claiming to be tenderloin I have ever tried to eat. In addition to ruining an expensive bottle of red wine I just walked away from the meal. Took some pictures and hope my Duck a L'orange is as delicious as usual.”
