“Had to add a lot of ingredients to make it feel like a real gumbo, including spices, more veggies and shrimp. Also, the amount of water I had to use to separate the packages was insane. Just put a piece of cardboard between the packages and people can split them without using much water.”
“Good flavor and the process is convenient. I would recommend. I added a small portion of my own protein (large shrimp, crab legs, and sausage). It did come with shrimp and sausage but they amounts were tiny and sparse. I used the package as more of a build block to specialize the gumbo my preferred way.”
