“The Strawberry Rhubarb Apple pie was sent to my elderly Aunt for Mother's Day. We had been talking about pies and she commented how she really missed eating the pies I made and wished we lived closer. I remembered seeing desserts in your mailer and decided to surprise her with your combination pie. She was thrilled and declared it delicious! Thank you for making her Mother's Day sweet!”
“The pie arrived smashed, collapsed, flattened; whatever you want to call it. It was unappealing to the eye and only one person touched it. I was hoping 19 people at Easter dinner would eat it up but only one person scooped out a serving. You couldn't even cut a slice out. Basically, a $60 (final price) pie wasted. And the taste was only 'meh'. I'm so disappointed! I won't be ordering from MacKenzie again. In the catalog, the food looks great but that's no guarantee that'll be what you'll get.”
“Very good pie. Could have had a stronger strawberry flavor though. We were expecting strawberry rhubarb pie and my husband was disappointed in the amount of apples in it. It seemed like it was half apples, and a quarter strawberry and rhubarb. It didn't bother me as apple is my favorite pie, but he complained. Tasted good though. Just not enough strawberry or rhubarb.”
“I was given a gift card for Mackenzie for Christmas and so my wife and I looked through the catalog to determine what to buy. I love deserts and this pie sounded like it had a lot of potential to be delicious. It turned out even better than I ever thought it would be. This pie is amazing. The only downside is that the paper bag that you cook it in has a tendency to stick to the crust and can be difficult to remove cleanly but any difficulty there is well worth it considering how good this pie tastes. My wife and I both loved it and I plan to buy it again.”
