“Like everyone else, these are superb, easy and enjoyed by all - but several people at our brunch voted for referring to them as "vanilla-bourbon bacon "skewers" rather than lollipops and felt the "cuteness" of that anticipated image belonged more at a children's brunch detracting from the actual presentation and taste.”
“Don't cook from frozen. Or if you do then realize that you'll need to separate the bacon skewers as they dethaw in the oven. Several are frozen together in a pack. You can't separate them when frozen. So you either need to pre- dethaw them or about 5 minutes into oven cooking separate them out as they will be frozen into a pile.
Taste - they are ok. Nothing special.”
