“We normally prepare our own beef wellington using Julia Child's recipe. This year it seemed stupid to prepare it for just the two of us. Mackenzie to the rescue. The portion size was large but reasonable, the preparation straightforward. All in all, the result was good but not great - the beef lacked flavor. Fortunately I made Julia's brown sauce which gave it a bit more pizazz.”
