“Amazing, amazing, amazing! Highest quality and very delicious. The beef was extraordinary flavor and melted in your mouth. Just take care to follow the directions and allow the pastry to cool before slicing. Fantastic!”
“This product tasted great! However, I'd recommend something be put in the catalog description & cooking directions regarding how to cut & serve. I guess I should have known, but it definitely requires an electric knife (or some other way to slice it). Silly me, I used a real sharp knife and managed to tear the crust & pate' from the meat. Result? A very expensive Christmas dinner that tasted fine, but its presentation was somewhat akin to a beef pot pie.”
“Have ordered this before and served with great success. This time, the pastry remained soggy and did not brown properly. As before, we followed the instructions to the letter. Any suggestions?”
“This is one of my favorite dishes. It was hard to cut to make 4 pieces. Once again the serving size is off. There is no way this would serve more than 4 and not sure how you would cut it without it falling apart”
“Chateaubriand en Croute was very good, but I didn't care for the mushroom compote surrounding it. I found it bland and somewhat damaging to the crust.”
