“This reminded me of a chicken pot pie without a crust. The dumplings tasted very doughy, maybe they needed to be removed and heated up on their own to crisp up? This seems to be a common theme with all the meals I tried, if they had dough they took significantly longer to heat up and needed to be on a higher rack in the oven.
I thought it was a very tasty dish which is why I'm giving it four stars but I don't envision ordering this again because there'd be no guarantee the dumplings would be any better. I also thought the chicken, while tasty, just doesn't justify the high price of the dish. I have no issue paying a lot of money for dishes but my expectation is it should be better than the brands I find at my local supermarket.”
“Okay for prepared food. Biscuits were nice and gravy good except too much salt! I’m noticing a trend in all of their food to add way too much salt. It’s like a week’s worth of salt in one entree and it completely overpowers the dish. Wish they would dial back the salt and let people season their dishes themselves.”
